Welcome to my world
I am Barbara Carretta, aka Barbarasoulart.
Born on February 5, 1978, and deeply rooted in my homeland of Padua, I am a self-taught artist who has lived art and creativity as a vocation since my earliest memories.
My Story
My story is a symphony of passions where a love of creation blends with a deep admiration for nature and a keen environmental awareness.
This connection with the Earth has led me to explore the boundaries of eco-sustainability and recycling, principles that I integrate into my painting techniques to resonate with the very soul of nature.
My Art: A Flow Between Water and Words
My works are not born from calculation, but from the freedom of movement, abandoning myself to the creative flow and letting my soul guide every gesture on paper. Although my repertoire ranges from dripping to the use of recycled materials, it is in watercolor and inks that I have found my favorite allies.
Water acts as a catalyst, making the images fluid and allowing them to transcend the confines of the rational mind.
Today my production has shifted towards a more figurative, dreamlike and magical representation, born from the belief that art must communicate immediately and clearly.
What makes each of my creations unique is the union with the word: I often associate a poem or a thought with my paintings, creating a multisensory experience that offers a profound and personal key to understanding.
My mission? To be a constant reminder of our divine essence and an invitation to listen to the voice of our soul, which always whispers words of love to us.
My Journey: Sharing and Territory
I believe that art is a bridge between the tangible and the ethereal. For this reason, since 2020, I have been bringing my works to people by participating in local art markets and events such as MOMARTE in Padua and art exhibitions within the province of Padua.
My commitment also extends to education and social work: as a member of the AVANTGART group of the ORA11 association, I collaborate with various municipalities and private organizations to hold watercolor courses and creative workshops for adults and children, often volunteering.
Not Just Art: Your Creative Ally
My vision doesn't stop at the canvas. Thanks to a solid background in IT, I now put my graphic and technical skills at the service of those with a dream but limited resources.
I'm not your typical graphic designer: I like to think of myself as your creative ally. I passionately work with dreamers, small businesses, artisans, associations, and nonprofits who can't afford the costs of a large agency but want a professional and authentic visual identity to communicate their value (learn more in the Services section).
Whether it's a painting for your soul or a logo for your project, I'm here to give shape to the invisible and bring your colorful dreams into this world.
