 In this watercolor, I wanted to capture not only the image, but the very essence of the hummingbird: a fragment of pure energy in constant movement.

 Although my list of historic works from 2018 includes a "Colibri" in the collection The Circle of Life, this new interpretation on paper explores the delicacy and transparency that only watercolor can offer.

 Through a palette of emerald greens, sunny yellows, and deep blues, the little bird's body seems to dissolve into the air, merging with the lavender hues of the flower that welcomes it.
 The technique is free, almost instinctive, rich in textures and flashes that bring the work to life.
 It is an invitation to notice the beauty in the small details and to let yourself be carried away by the lightness of the spirit.
