“Absence” is a profound meditation on the lack and emptiness left by an intense connection.
The poem immediately expresses how the essence of absence is linked not only to the person, but to the memory of his gaze, which took away with it "everything that is missing."
The sensual image, emerging from the darkness, is a symbol of the vulnerability one feels at the moment of separation and the colours represent all the emotions that agitate the body and mind in such a difficult moment.
